2. Guiding principle
This website is deliberately designed to be data-minimal: it sends no data to analytics or advertising services before you consent and sets no tracking cookies of its own; only your cookie choice itself is stored in a functional cookie (“cc_cookie”) in your browser. There are no contact forms and no user accounts. You can visit the website without providing any personal details yourself.
3. Hosting (Cloudflare Pages)
The website is delivered via Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., USA). When you access the website, Cloudflare processes access data such as your IP address and user agent (browser identifier) in server logs for technical reasons. The purpose is delivering the website and ensuring its security and stability (e.g. defending against attacks). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating the website securely and reliably. The transfer of data to the USA is safeguarded by the EU standard contractual clauses with the Swiss addendum under Cloudflare’s data processing agreement (DPA).
4. Web analytics and advertising (only with your consent)
Only if you give your consent via the cookie banner do we use Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion measurement (Google Ireland Limited, Ireland, and Google LLC, USA). Technically this is implemented via Google Consent Mode v2: all signals default to “denied”, and the services are loaded only after you consent.
- Purposes: reach measurement (how the website is used) and ad conversion measurement (whether an ad leads to a visit or an appointment booking).
- Recorded events: among others, clicks on booking, phone and e-mail links – without any treatment or health details as event parameters. With statistics consent, page views are also recorded, including the addresses of the pages you visit (e.g. treatment pages).
- Retention: data is retained in Google Analytics 4 for 14 months.
- Withdrawal: you can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. Your consent choice is stored locally in your browser.
If you consent, data may also be transferred to Google LLC in the USA; this transfer is safeguarded by EU standard contractual clauses with the Swiss addendum.
5. Appointment booking (Calenso)
You do not book appointments on this website itself but via a link to our partner Calenso (Calenso AG, Switzerland). Calenso’s own privacy policy applies to the processing that takes place there. When you click a booking button, advertising click identifiers (e.g. gclid or utm parameters) may be appended to the Calenso link so that we can measure the effectiveness of ad campaigns. These parameters contain no health information.
6. Source code hosting (GitHub)
The content of this website is versioned and managed as source code on GitHub (GitHub, Inc., USA). This repository contains website content only and no visitor data.
7. Your rights
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP/nDSG), you have in particular the right to information about the data processed about you, to rectification of inaccurate data, to erasure, and to object to processing. To exercise these rights, contact TizhenTCM@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC / EDÖB).

E-mails sent to TizhenTCM@gmail.com are processed via Google’s Gmail service. Please do not send sensitive health details by e-mail – discuss them directly at the practice or by phone.
